Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Vinegar
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 6 tablespoons Water
  • 3/4 teaspoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Organic Green Onions finely chopped
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Oil heated

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Continue cooking, stirring continuously until thick and smooth. Cover and keep warm.

There are countless versions of sweet and sour sauce. Some are too sweet, others are too sour, and most lack character. This is a well balanced recipe used by traditional Chinese chefs.
