Ingredients

  • Ginger Root 2 inch peeled and coarsely chopped
  • 6 tablespoons Dark Brown Sugar
  • 10 Cardamon Pods lightly crushed
  • 2 cups Water
  • 6 tablespoons Lemon Juice (use Lemon Juice)
  • 6 sprigs Mint

Directions

Combine the ginger, sugar, cardamom pods, and 2 cups of water in a pan and bring to a boil. Simmer on medium - low heat about 15 minutes, or until 1 1/2 cups are left. Strain and cool. Add the lemon juice, mix, and refrigerate. Once chilled, serve in small glasses with lots of ice and the fresh mint.
