Orange-Pineapple Tofu Smoothie

Ingredients

Simple Syrup

  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Water

Smoothie

  • 1 packageĀ Organic Tofu use Firm Tofu (12.3 ounce)
  • 1 1/2 cupsĀ Organic Oranges juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 1/2 cups Frozen Pineapple Chunks
  • Simple Syrup to taste
  • 3/4 cup Pineapple Sherbet

Directions

For the Simple Syrup:

Heat the sugar and water in a sauce pan to a boil. Remove from the heat and let cool.

For the Smoothie:

In an electric blender, mix all remaining ingredients until smooth. Serve in ice cold glasses immediately.

Note:

I like to garnish this drink with a pineapple wedge and orange slice on the edge of the glass.
