Ingredients
- 2 ounces Non Fat Milk
- 20 grams Solgar’s Natural Vanilla Whey Protein Powder (1 level scoop)
- 1 small Banana
- 2 tablespoons Organic Roasted Golden Flax Seed
- 3 Ice Cubes
- 6 ounces Mineral Water
Directions
Place milk, whey powder, banana, and flaxseed into a blender and purée until smooth. Add the ice cubes and blend an additional 20 seconds. Serve immediately.

This breakfast smoothie keeps hunger pangs at bay until lunch, and is a great way to have a nutritious meal if you’re short on time. I alternate this recipe by using half a banana along with a half cup of blueberries, blackberries, cherries or cranberries to get a variety of antioxidant-rich fruits into my diet.
