Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups Buttermilk
- 1/2 cup Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce
- 2 teaspoons Lawry's Seasoned Salt
- 3 Perfect Sweet Onions cut into 1/4 inch rings
- 3 cups All-Purpose Flour
- Canola Oil as needed
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the first 3 ingredients and mix well. Add the onion rings and carefully toss them to coat. Cover and refrigerate for an hour (or more for a bolder flavor).
In a pot, heat the oil to 360 degrees F.
Place flour in a large dish and season with Lawry's Seasoned Salt. Dredge the onions in the flour and shake off the excess. In batches carefully place the rings in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown and drain on paper towels. Season with the Lawry's immediately and serve.
Note:
Surprisingly, the rings are not spicy. If desired, sprinkle some of the hot sauce over the onion rings.
