Melissa's Soy Nachos With Pickled Jalapenos

Ingredients

  • 1 package Soy Ground
  • 1 small Onion chopped
  • 3/4 cup Water (plus 2 tlbs divided)
  • 1 tablespoon Chile Powder
  • 6 ounces Tortilla Chips
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream
  • 3/4 cup Soy Shreds Cheddar flavor
  • 1/3 cup olives (ripe) slice
  • 1/4 cup Pickled Jalapenos sliced


Directions

PREHEAT oven to 400°F.

Cook soy ground according to package directions add onion Stir in 3/4 cup water and chile powder; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cook, stirring occasionally, for 3 to 4 minutes.

Spread chips onto baking sheet. Top with ground filling. Combine sour cream and 2 tablespoons water in small bowl; drizzle over taco filling. Sprinkle with cheese, olives and jalapeños, if desired.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
