You can enjoy one of San Francisco’s most dramatic views from the windows of Greens Restaurant. Green's airy, art-filled interior, with a soaring 30 foot ceiling, ranks as one of the most dramatic dining spaces in the city. The western wall of windows frames a sweeping view of the San Francisco Bay and Marina, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the hills of Marin County.
Greens Restaurant is located in historic Fort Mason, a former Army supply facility that has been carefully preserved as a national park in the beautiful urban setting of San Francisco. Executive Chef Annie Somerville has earned a national reputation for her imaginative approach to vegetarian cooking. Using the finest seasonal produce, Somerville and her staff concentrate on simple, yet stylish dishes that have been inspired by the Mediterranean, Mexico and the American Southwest. Filo Turnovers with mushrooms, leeks and sundried tomatoes, Roasted Garlic Fettucine with braising greens and roasted peppers, and Southern Rio Stew with roasted butternut squash and rattlesnake beans are just a few examples of the farm-fresh and innovative meatless fare.
