Uses
Many chefs prefer freshly ground nutmeg directly from the seed. Nutmeg has a flavor that is quite strong, however used in small amounts it blends well in baked goods and many vegetable recipes such as squash, spinach, and sweet potato pie.
Selection, Storage & Handling
Store in an air-tight container, in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight.
