Uses
Melissa’s Watermelon Radish is the most beautiful radish—raspberry pink inside. This Radish is a benefit from the cold foothills east of Fresno, CA where the growing conditions are ideal for vibrant internal color. Sweeter than an ordinary radish, they have a mild, sub-acidic taste and blend well in salads. Their color and flavor make them stand out on appetizer platters. They are a definite conversation piece. Selection, Storage and Handling
Store Melissa’s Watermelon Radish in a plastic bag in the refrigerator. Surround with ice water for extra crispiness a few minutes before serving. Choose radishes full of color with firm well formed roots and green tops.
