The Torpedo Onion displays nicely with bright pink or red coloring. This onion has a mild, yet spicy and tangy sweet fresh taste. This remarkable flavor is wonderful prepared and eaten raw or cooked. The succulent tangy flavor of Melissa’s Torpedo Onions enhance tossed salads, spice up potato salads and give a sweet flavor to chicken salads. Torpedo Onions complement other veggies like squash and zucchini when sautéed or fried. Enjoy Torpedo Onions in the late spring and early summer with any dish.
