Small in size, these specialty onions are raised in thin and light volcanic soils and grown with an abundance of sun where the days are warm and the nights are cool. These growing conditions are ideal for producing a sweet-tasting onion. Sweet Petite Onions can be used in raw or cooked in salads, casseroles, sauces, meat and poultry dishes, and on shish-kebabs.
