Uses:

Sweet Limes are thought to be a cross between Mexican limes and sweet lemons. Melissa's Sweet Limes are extremely sweet when ripe and without the citric acid. Sweet limes look very similar to regular limes, but sweet limes are more yellowish-green in color. These sweet delicious limes are very aromatic and juicy. This lime makes for a wonderfully refreshing garnish on any drink or cocktail. Enjoy this great addition to relishes, sauces and breads. Similar to lemonade, make limeade for a refreshing snack. The citrus in the sweet lime lures out the rich deep flavors of meat and poultry.

Selection, Storage & Handling:

When selecting Melissa's Sweet Limes pick limes with bright coloring free of blemishes and fairly firm to the touch. Sweet limes will last up to two weeks in the refrigerator.
