Uses
This delicate, oval shaped cabbage looks more similar to lettuce with its crispy green leaves. The leaves are a crinkly texture and vary in color from light to dark green, with hints of reddish throughout. Although very mild and mellow in flavor, it has a quite distinct flavor easy to recognize. This delicious cabbage only needs a splash of butter and salt and pepper. Enjoy Savoy Cabbage raw or cooked in a variety of Italian recipes.
Selection, Storage & Handling
Savoy Cabbage from Melissa’s is hand-selected for excellent quality. Keep away from ethylene-producing fruits. Napa will keep a week or more. Rinse and shake dry, crisp in warm water, drain well for maximum freshness.
