They are available in regular and jumbo sizes. Melissa’s Red Onions have beautiful deep coloring and are as blemish free as nature allows, making them a perfect color break. Add them to salads and appetizers for a little flare with the added reddish purple color. Their versatile sweet mild flavor can be added to almost any dish. Melissa’s Red Onions are great raw, diced up in salads or mixed with vegetables. Melissa’s Red onions are complimentary to any vegetable dish and are a wonderful with heirloom tomatoes and basil.
