Uses
Ponderosa Lemons are often used as a substitute for a true lemon. Use them to make juices, desserts, or for lemon flavoring (juice and peel). Melissa's Ponderosa Lemons are also used a lot for Asian dishes for lemon flavoring in stir fry's and vegetable dishes.
Selection & Storage
Melissa's Ponderosa Lemons are hand selected for excellent quality. Their skin should be brightly yellow and they should be about grapefruit size. Choose firm lemons that are heavy for their size. Refrigerate in a plastic bag for up to 10 days or when the fruit begins to soften.
