Uses

Soybeans are one of the richest sources of vegetable protein on the planet. Tofu is made by curdling fresh hot soymilk into a custard-like food that is the primary source of protein for over one billion people around the world every day. Soy is a complete protein containing all eight essential amino acids as well as being very low in saturated fat and no cholesterol. These all natural Hawaiian Style tofu squares are made using Nigari (fine ground salt) tofu that is fried in 100% organic vegetable oil. Use right out of the package as a tasty treat or add to a wide range of cuisines including salads, rice recipes and stir fry dishes.

Selection, Storage and Handling

The 120 day shelf life of this product is much longer than most other brands of tofu. Once opened, unused tofu should be refrigerated and used within one week. This product should not be frozen or submerged in water for storage.
