Uses:

Melissa’s Organic Minneola Tangelos are also called Honeybells because of their one slightly elongated end, which forms a bell shape. This large citrus fruit is a cross between a tangerine and a grapefruit and when ripe, turns a deep red-orange color and is very easy to peel. These succulent, sweet fruits measure 3” to 3-1/2” in size and are usually seedless. Organic Minneola Tangelo’s are best when peeled and eaten fresh. These fresh and juicy Tangelos are also delicious when served with other crisp fruit or vegetables in your favorite salad, topped with almonds, or as a garnish to baked fish or grilled, caramelized chicken.

Selection, Storage & Handling:

When selecting Melissa’s Minneola Tangelos, pick fruit with bright coloring, free of major blemishes, and fairly firm to the touch. Tangelos will last up to two weeks in the refrigerator.
