Uses
The consumption of Leaf Lettuce is rising among consumers. Perhaps it is the nutritional benefits or the convenience of the leaves joining at the stem rather than forming a head. Melissa’s Organic Red and Green Leaf Lettuce is 100% natural and organic. These delicious bunches of lettuce are organically grown in accordance with the 1990 California Organic Foods Act. They are grown without use of synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or preservatives. Selection, Storage & Handling
Melissa’s Organic Leaf Lettuce is hand-selected for excellent quality. Wrap in a towel, store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to five days. Organic produce should not be stacked with non-organic produce.
