Uses:

When you think of Organic tomatoes, you generally think of the plump, round red fruit that is most often seen in stores and restaurants. Although not widely known, there are actually hundreds of varieties of organic tomatoes existing today. Home gardeners and chefs have increased the demand for these uniquely shaped and colored varieties because of their great flavor and unusual beauty. The varieties in this delightful special assortment vary and may include organic: Brandywine, Evergreen, Zebra and Jubilee. Try Melissa's Organic Heirloom Tomatoes with fresh mozzarella cheese and an aromatic basil leaf, drizzled with extra virgin olive oil. Enjoy them on toasted French bread topped with freshly grated parma reggiano and herbs, or to enhance your favorite recipes. Use them freshly sliced by themselves, in salads, on sandwiches, or in fresh sauces, salsas, or stews. Their intense, juicy, homegrown flavor and natural color and beauty are out of this world!
