Uses
D’Anjou Pears have short tapering necks without distinct shoulders, almost egg-shaped. They have a yellow green skin, which does not change color even when ripe. Despite their appearance, this is a rich, juicy fruit with a sweet flesh and buttery, slightly gritty texture. Selection, Storage & Handling
Melissa’s Organic D’Anjou Pears are hand-selected for excellent quality. They can be stored in refrigeration unripe for long periods. Organic produce should not be stacked with non-organic produce.
