Uses:
Manzano Peppers are prized for their very thick skin and meaty interior. The Manzano chile is unusual in that it has black seeds, unlike any other variety of chiles. There are 3 colors of Manzano chiles: Orange (most common), red and yellow. They are great for making hot salsas. Manzano chiles rate about medium to hot on the Scoville heat scale. Product of California.
Selection, Storage & Handling:
Choose peppers that are firm with no soft spots or bruises. Stems should be fresh and pliable. Perishable produce should be refrigerated at all time.
