Uses
Named after the manzana, or apple, for its apple-like fragrance and soothing, sweet flavor.
Valued for its sweet, apple-scented leaves, Manzanilla is the Spanish name for Chamomile. One of the most popular herbal teas, German Chamomile (Chamomolla recutita) was renamed after the manzana, or apple, because of its apple-like fragrance and soothingly sweet flavor. Acting as a stress antidote, Don Enrique’s Manzanilla can be infused as a tea to achieve a general calming effect. To make a cup of Manzanilla tea, steep one or two teaspoons of Don Enrique’s Manzanilla in a cup of boiling water. Allow to steep 4-5 minutes. Strain and enjoy warm, or cool and serve with ice.
Slection, Storage & Handling
Don Enrique’s Manzanilla is hand packed for excellent quality. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 9 months. For convenience, tea may be brewed and stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
