Uses
With the sensation flavor of a mango and the texture of a nectarine, Melissa’s Mango Nectarines are one of nature's most mouth-watering treats. Take a bite of one of these fruits and experience the sweet juice dripping down your chin, a sure sign that they are at their peak and ready to be eaten. When immature, the Mango Nectarine is a bright green color, turning to a vivid yellow when ripe. They have an inner texture that is very fine grained, similar to that of a mango or papaya. Try serving them sliced in a fresh salad, on top of pancakes or waffles, in yogurt or ice cream, or in cobblers and tarts. Enjoy them now because they won't be available for long!
Selection, Storage & Handling
Melissa’s Mango Nectarines should be stored at room temperature for up to one week after ripening. They may be refrigerated to stop the ripening process.
