Uses
This beautiful new variety is still limited in volume and availability as they are the last to be harvested in the Chilean fruit season. Lemon Plums are named for their resemblance to a lemon in shape and color only; however, their delicate flavor is extremely sweet and very juicy. The lemon-yellow skin reddens from the pointed end as it ripens and the interior fruit turns a lush amber color as it peaks in sugar. Product of Chile.
Selection, Storage & Handling
Choose fruit with no external bruising or soft areas. Fruit should be firm with some give that indicates ripening has started. Keep refrigerated.
