Uses:
This specialty grape, first developed in Japan, is a large, seeded, sweet-tart, meaty grape. It most resembles the Concord with its thick, deep purple-black, powdery skin. This grape is actually large enough to peel, which is the dessert of choice in Japan, a bowl of peeled Kyoho grapes! Product of California and Chile.
Selection, Storage & Handling:
Choose grape bunches that are firm, high color with no shrivel or leaking fruits. Grapes should be refrigerated at all times and tend to ripen quickly at room temperature.
Display:
Display next to other varieties of Melissa’s grapes including Green, Red and Pink Muscat grapes.
