Uses

Melissa’s Kishu Mandarins are the perfect snack for young children. They are the size of a walnut, seedless, easy to peel, with a very high natural sugar content.  The perfect lunchbox treat!

Mandarins and Tangerines are interchangeable words.  Technically, mandarins are a tangerine from Asia and a tangerine is a mandarin from North Africa (Tangiers).  However, over time the terms have been muddled for merchandising distinctions more than country of origin.

Selection, Storage and Handling

Melissa’s Kishu Mandarins are hand-selected for excellent quality. Choose fruit  with a nice, deep orange coloring, a fragrant scent and no soft spots.
