Uses

As the name of the variety implies, this is one of the sweetest tasting apples in the marketplace today. The Honeycrisp™ tends to be quite large with light red striping over a gold background. The variety was first bred in the Midwest and is, in fact, Minnesota’s state fruit.  This variety bruises quite easily and has a relatively short storage life compared to other varieties because of their high sugar content. Product of Oregon, Washington.

Selection, Storage & Handling

Apples should be extremely firm with no mechanical cuts or obvious bruises. All perishable produce must be refrigerated to maintain freshness, flavor and shelf life.
