Uses
Ground Annato seeds impart a rich yellowish-orange color to stews and sauces. The powder is made into Achiote Paste, which is the key flavor in carne asada, fajitas and many more popular Mexican food recipes. Its flavor is earthy, with a pleasant touch of bitterness.
