Uses:

Horseradish, (one of the five bitter herbs of the Jewish Passover) is grown mainly for its large, white, hot and spicy flavored roots. Usually crushed or grated and made into a sauce, this root vegetable is now available from Melissa’s in two convenient pre-packaged 4 oz. jarred varieties: Melissa’s Grated Horseradish-Extra Hot, and Cream Style Horseradish. Great when mixed into cocktail sauces or with potato, macaroni or tuna salads, Melissa’s Grated Horseradish can also add zest to sandwiches and burgers and may be used as a spicy substitute for mustard or mayonnaise.
