Uses
Granulated garlic is made from dried garlic and contains no salt or any other spices. It has a coarse texture, similar to fine cornmeal. The sharp “heat” found in fresh garlic dissipates in the drying process. In fact, when using granulated garlic in a recipe, it takes about 20 minutes for its full flavor to be released.
Selection, Storage & Handling
The advantage of this form of garlic is that it does not turn rancid. It can be stored for several months in a cool and dark place.
