Uses:
The largest of the Agaricus family, Dried Portobello Mushrooms from Melissa’s are definitely in a class all their own. Rapidly gaining popularity because they are both versatile and nutritious, Melissa’s Dried Portobello Mushrooms are the most talked about mushrooms this season! Similar to shiitake mushrooms in size, but lighter in color, Melissa’s Portobellos (available in 12/1/2 oz. and 12/1 oz. units), have a beef-like texture with enough substance to be served as a main course or appetizer. Once rehydrated, Melissa’s Portobellos can be served with beef, veal or fish.
Selection, Storage & Handling:
Melissa’s Dried Portobello Mushrooms are hand selected for excellent quality. Store in a cool, dry place. After rehydrating, trim tough stems.
