    Uses

These beautiful Golden Apricots and a red hue have a velvety skin with a golden flesh.  The super sweet flavor and medium aciditicy make you think you are eating dessert. The warm late Spring and Summer weather in California produces an intense flavor in these fruits that is reminiscent of apricot preserves.

    Selection, Storage & Handling

Golden Velvet Apricots may bruise easily when ripe; handle with care. To ripen, hold at 65 - 70º. They are ripe when they give to gentle pressure.

    Note

Black Velvet Apricots are sensitive to ethylene producing fruits and vegetables.
