    Uses

    Melissa’s Flavor Grenade Plumcots are large, delicious plum/apricot hybrids. These thin-skinned, greenish yellow fruits are a semi-freestone variety. The taste and texture of this plum is outstanding, brixing at levels of 18 and 19. The "Brix" scale measures the sweetness level of fruit, with an average plum brixing in the low teens. This fruit is juicy, very sweet, and sumptuously delicious. The Flavor Grenade Plumcot has a sweetly aromatic fragrance and a pleasant absence of acidity.

    Selection, Storage & Handling

    They may bruise easily when ripe; handle with care. To ripen plumcots, hold at 65 - 70º. They are ripe when they give to gentle pressure.
