Uses
Boldo leaves may be used in cooking like bay leaves, though they have a stronger flavor than bay leaves. The leaves are most often used to complement fish and mushrooms. Boldo has a slightly bitter flavor and a strong, spicy aroma similar to camphor. The herb is also a key ingredient in pickled vegetables.
