Uses
Delicious and odor-free, Black Garlic is aged for a month in a special fermentation process under high heat where it develops its darker color, softer texture, and sweeter taste than regular garlic. This process creates a flavor that has a molasses-like richness with tangy garlic undertones. It has a tender, almost jelly-like texture with a melt-in-your-mouth consistency similar to a soft dried fruit. Black Garlic has nearly twice the antioxidants as regular garlic and can be eaten raw as a snack without the worry of breath odor; Because of its subtle yet complex flavor it is also a wonderful and versatile cooking ingredient.
Selection, Storage & Handling
