Uses

This extremely sweet hybrid is 75% plum and 25% apricot. It is aptly named for both its cherry flavored overtones and round shape. Serve fresh whole plumcots for a quick out-of-hand snack. Add plumcot slices to fruit salads and compotes or use as a fresh topping for desserts. Product of California.

Selection, Storage & Handling

Look for fairly firm, smooth, plump, well-formed fruit with no scarring. Plumcots ripen fast and can quickly become over-ripe. Always refrigerate and keep no longer than 5 days.
