Uses
Bay Leaves are extremely pungent, with a sharp, bitter taste. Use to flavor bean, split pea and vegetable soups, meat stews, spaghetti sauce, and chili. Be sure to remove Bay Leaves before eating any dish; the leaves are a flavoring and are not edible as they are too hard to chew and bitter.
Selection, Storage & Handling
Store in an airtight container in a dry place out of direct sunlight.
