Uses:
Basmati Rice (Indian) is considered the "champagne" of all rices. It is a long-grained rice with a fine texture, it has a perfumy, nut-like flavor and aroma. Aged to decrease its moisture content, Basmati Rice is often found in Indian and Middle Eastern recipes. Use in cold rice salads or in place of your regular rice.
Selection, Storage & Handling:
Melissa’s Basmati Rice is hand-selected for excellent quality. Store packages in a cool, dry place out of direct sun. Properly stored, Melissa’s Basmati Rice will stay in prime condition for 6 to 9 months. Store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator or for longer storage, store in the freezer.
