Uses
There are several types of variety potatoes available from Melissa's. The Thin-skinned types include Baby Red Potatoes. Melissa's Baby Red Potatoes are round with distinct red skins. These Baby Red Potatoes can be cooked in almost any way imaginable. They have a light, subtle flavor and a creamy texture. To preserve the nutrients, leave the skins on and simply scrub gently in water before using.
Selection, Storage & Handling
Baby Red Potatoes from Melissa's are hand-selected for excellent quality. Look for firm, well shaped and fairly smooth potatoes. Avoid potatoes that have wrinkles or any bitter green discolorations. Also avoid potatoes that show signs of sprouting, wilting, or decay. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area rather than refrigerate.
