Melissa's Baby Dutch Yellow® Potatoes (DYP's®) are round with distinct yellowish-white skins. These baby potatoes can be cooked in almost any way imaginable and provide a delicious way to round out a healthy diet. They have a light, subtle flavor and a creamy texture. To preserve the nutrients in these wonderfully healthy treats, leave the skins on and simply scrub gently in water before using.

Baby Dutch Yellow® Potatoes from Melissa's are hand-selected for excellent quality. Look for firm, well-shaped and fairly smooth potatoes. Avoid potatoes that have wrinkles or any bitter green discolorations. Also avoid potatoes that show signs of sprouting, wilting, or decay. Store in a cool, well-ventilated area rather than a refrigerated one.

Microwave Instructions:

Baby Dutch Yellow® Potatoes – 1 pound
Remove the potatoes from the package and pierce them with a fork. Place them in a re-sealable plastic bag or a microwave-safe bowl covered with plastic wrap. Leave the containers slightly open in order to vent. Microwave on high for 5 to 6 minutes or until fork tender. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on your oven.

Dutch Yellow® Peewee Potatoes – 12 oz.
Remove the potatoes from the package and pierce them with a fork. Place them in a re-sealable plastic bag or a microwave-safe bowl covered with plastic wrap. Leave the containers slightly open in order to vent. Microwave on high for 4 to 5 minutes or until fork tender. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on your oven.

Boiling Instructions:

Baby Dutch Yellow® Potatoes – 1 pound
Cover potatoes with cold water (about 1 inch of water above potato line). We recommend cold water so that the potatoes cook evenly. Bring the water to a boil and allow potatoes to cook for 10-15 minutes or until fork tender.

Lemon Oil Roasted Baby Dutch Potatoes April 7, 2016

I have been buying your Baby Dutch Yellow Potatoes for over a year now.   They are delicious and so creamy.  I typically roast them in a little lemon oil and salt which creates a unique flavor to them and is just wonderful. Several of my friends are now using the potatoes and my recipe and just love it.  Thanks for such a great product!
