Steamer Tips

Check the water level in the bottom of the steamer occasionally.











If it's low, add boiling water to avoid lowering the temperature.











A heat-resistant glass pie plate makes an ideal liner for steaming fish, custards, and other foods.

Don't get steamed! Avoid burns by always opening the steamer with care.

Wear oven mitts, and lift the lid so that it points away from you.
